Regional Agencies Contract Credit Course

The following courses listed are conducted at area hospitals and health agencies on a "contract" basis with the agency for their Nursing personnel. Registration is online and a link to the current registration form is on our homepage.  Tuition can be paid by credit card online or via check mailed to the Office for Academic Outreach.

Some agencies provide tuition assistance and/or scholarships.  You can check with your agency to determine their policy.  If the agency is providing financial support at the beginning of the term, bring a copy of your registration from Patriot Web to your hospital/agency along with your portion of the tuition (according to the hospital policy), and the agency/hospital will submit your payment (along with the scholarships/tuition assistance for all their employees) to the GMU CHHS Office of Academic Outreach.

Generally agencies are willing/able to admit students (non-employees) to the courses listed. However, one must contact the Agency Education Coordinator directly to obtain permission and complete payment arrangements if the agency is collecting the funds.

Students registering for these contract courses (non-GMU admitted students) must seek advising and program planning through the CHHS Office of Student Affairs. Students are highly encouraged to apply to the program after they start their contract courses (only 12 credits can be transferred).  Call 703-993-1901 to schedule an appointment for academic advising and transcript review.

Directions to the classroom: From the Green Garage, cross at the cross walk on the street level and take the sidewalk around to the right to the FRONT of the building and enter at the Women and Infant Pavilion entrance that faces George Mason Dr. is (you will see the ground floor Cancer Center Entrance across from the Green garage at the street level, but for simplicity, I would skip that and just walk around the outside of that building).   The classroom is on the 1st floor of the 1701 Women and Infant Building, just off that lobby.   From the 1st floor Lobby door, make an immediate right and walk into the small seating area on that side, so that the side of the gift shop is on your left and the windows of the lobby are on your right.   Make a left BEHIND the gift shop. You will see the Public Relations Door and the Development Office door on your right.  Follow that hall through the doorframe and you'll come to a tile floor.  That tile hall requires you to make a right turn immediately.    The first door on your right is Classroom # 3.
