Local hotels near campus are plentiful with a wide range of services, amenities, and prices. Participants must make their own reservations. You are free to make your own choice of accommodations but for your convenience we have rooms set aside at the Comfort Inn-University Center, 11180 Main Street, Fairfax, VA 22031. The room rate for the for the, "The Clinical Nurse Educator Academy, June 8 - 10 and The Nursing Administrative Leadership Academy, June May 25 - 27, participants, $89.00 per night, plus 9% tax. Rooms will be held for our group until 3 weeks prior to the event so don’t delay making your reservation. This hotel is 3 miles from campus and the local Cue bus provides transportation for $0.50 per passenger and picks up in the hotel parking lot. They will provide a bus to bring everyone over in the morning and pick them up to take them back to the hotel. In addition, there is a free shuttle available to metro and the nearby shopping mall. The hotel also has an indoor/outdoor pool, complimentary breakfast, exercise room, internet access, coffee and ironing boards/irons in all rooms. A limited number of rooms have kitchenettes for an extra charge. It is also near shopping and restaurants.
