The Nursing Administrative Leadership Academy utilizes a leadership competency framework to integrate knowledge, skills, values, and best practices of innovative nursing leadership. Lectures, interactive collaborative discussion, written projects and leadership self-assessment will identify and teach the proficiencies specific to the administrative executive role. Attendance at the Academy is an excellent strategy to be utilized in study preparation for the nursing administration certification exams.
Attention: There are two registration forms for the Nurse Administrator Leadership Academy. One is for Academic Credit Hours and is one for CEUs. Only fill out one form.
Prerequisite: Bachelor’s Degree or permission of the instructor.
NURS 704-653: Nursing Administrative Leadership Academy (3 cr)
Current or previous management experience will be an asset. Participants attending for academic credit will be required to write two short papers during the Academy and submit a 10-12 page paper after the academy is completed.
