Chapter Committees

Events and Programs Committee 

The committee plans the annual fall Alumni Chapter Signature Event (Saturday, October 5, 2013) and other chapter events throughout the year. 
For the annual fall event, committee members will be involved in program planning, sponsorships, and promoting the event to CHHS alumni, students and faculty.
Other events and programs for 2013 Fall and 2014 Spring are in the planning stages and the committee will assist in firming up the events for the calendar year.

Mentoring Committee

The committee will assist with identifying alumni to volunteer to speak with students, speak in classrooms and speak at CHHS Alumni Chapter mentoring events.
CHHS students are eager to speak with alumni on career paths, suggestions for moving ahead in the work place and general career advice. Students are also asking for alumni assistance with networking, resume critiquing and one-on-one mentoring. 

Awards and Scholarship Fund Committee

The committee will assist with developing criteria and reviewing applications for the CHHS Alumni Chapter scholarship fund for students in the college.
The committee will also assist with identifying and reviewing applications for the annual Distinguished Alumnus Award presented in the spring to a CHHS alumnus.
