GRADUATE COURSES Via Distance Education in the College of Health
and Human Services at George Mason University
The College of Health and Human Service is offering new online options
for completing graduate courses within graduate health and numan
services programs. In
addition, both the School
of Nursing and the Department
of Health Administration and Policy plan
to have full degree program options online by the 2007-2008
academic year. The Department of Global
and Community Health is now
also offering courses online.
Registration Procedure:
- Students wishing to take an on-line
course through the Distance Education program must register themselves
through the regular GMU on-line registration system using Patriot
Web
- Payment for Distance Education courses will also be made
via Patriot Web.
- In order to register through Patriot Web, students
will need to have been accepted to the University as either a degree-seeking
or non-degree student.
- If you are not already enrolled in a degree
program at George Mason University, you may apply
to the University as a non-degree student. Please
note that a maximum of 12 hours of non-degree credits can be transferred
from non-degree status to a degree program.
- Students wishing to
pursue a degree are strongly encouraged to make
application to the University as soon as possible.
- It is important to follow registration and payment date deadlines
in order to aviod late fees or tuition penalties. Registration/payment
deadlines can be found on the first few pages of the Schedule of
Classes for the particular semester in which you are registering.
