Kathy Dickman joined the faculty at GMU in 2004 as a full time instructor in the Nurse Practitioner Program. She is a family nurse practitioner and maintains a clinical practice at Jeanie Schmidt Free Clinic. Her interest as a clinician includes management of chronic disease in primary care and health care issues of underserved populations. She participated in two medical mission projects in Paraguay (2003) and Zimbabwe (2005). She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice.
