Dr. Gaffney teaches research methods courses. She is a Pediatric and Family Nurse Practitioner whose clinical research focuses on child health promotion. Her current studies examine the influence of maternal behaviors on infant health outcomes. Dr. Gaffney's skills include research proposal development and implementation. She has been the Principal Investigator for three National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) funded studies.
