Dr. Robert F. Graboyes is Senior Healthcare Advisor at the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) in Washington, DC, the nation's largest small-business association and a major player in healthcare reform. He also teaches health economics and finance in masters and doctoral programs at George Mason University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and the University of Virginia. Previously, Dr. Graboyes was an economics professor at the University of Richmond, Africa economist at Chase Manhattan Bank (New York City), and manager and economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. His work has carried him to Africa, Europe, and Kazakhstan. He speaks French, Spanish, and Portuguese. He holds degrees from Columbia University (MPhil, PhD), Virginia Commonwealth University (MSHA), the College of William and Mary (MA), and the University of Virginia (BA). When he's not doing economics or languages, Dr. Graboyes is an accomplished musician (jazz, Latin, classical), cooks ethnic cuisines, enjoys various physical activities.
