Jean Burley Moore is the Assistant Dean for Nursing Research Development in the School of Nursing and a certified pediatric nurse. She is also a Doctoral Nurse Scientist collaborating with the Inova Health System to advance the agenda for nursing research. Her research interests are children, health promotion, and cancer. She received the Book of the Year Award for The Pocket Guide to Clinical Nursing Processesfor the Pediatric Client (1984) from the American Journal of Nursing.
