Patrice M. Winter MS, PT, FAAOMPT joined CCID February 2009 after more than thirty years as a clinical physical therapist. Seventeen of those years were in private practice where she specialized in the treatment of chronic pain, musculoskeletal, biomechanical and movement dysfunction as well as women’s health issues. She has been a spokesperson for the American Physical Therapy Association since 1998 and is frequently quoted in national publications, newspapers and news services. At Mason she has been the coordinator of the Life Planning/Eldercare program since May 2007. She is an assistant professor in the College of Global and Community Health where she teaches health aspects of aging. She is active in church,arts & civic affairs in the City of Fairfax where she lives with her two children.
