Nancy Kelly, DNP, RN, PHCNS-BC

Dr. Nancy Kelly is an assistant professor at George Mason University's School of Nursing. Dr. Kelly received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and her Master of Science degree in community and public health leadership from the University of Virginia. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2011 from the University of Virginia.
Dr. Kelly teaches at the undergraduate and graduate level and has online teaching experience. She serves as the coordinator for clinical excellence for Mason's undergraduate nursing program. Prior to joining Mason, she taught for five years at Blue Ridge Community & Technical College. She has more than 30 years of nursing experience, most recently in public health and community settings.
Her capstone project focused on the health status of migrant farmworkers in the Shenandoah Valley. This work has been presented nationally and was published in the Journal of Community Health Nursing in 2012.
