Ms. Fleming has worked and interned in a variety of public and community health settings including Nueva Vida, Inc, Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), Navajo Area Indian Health Service, and the Center for Multicultural Human Services, among others. She has eight years of experience working in the area of health education, and tobacco education and cessation for ‘at risk’ youth in Montgomery County, Maryland. Currently Ms. Fleming teaches courses in International Health and Epidemiology for the department, as well as courses on personal and community health at Montgomery College. Ms. Fleming is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and holds a masters degree in International Health and a graduate certificate in Epidemiology from George Mason University.
