  • Andrew Carle, MHSA; Assistant Professor; Director, Program in Assisted Living/Senior Housing Administration. Professor Carle’s area of expertise is Assisted Living and Health Care Management.

  • Phan Giang, PhD; Associate Professor. Before joining GMU, Dr. Giang worked on R&D in health care industry (Siemens Medical). He received B.Sc. in Information Science from Moscow Institute of Economics and Statistics (Russia), M.Sc. in Computer Science from Australian National University (Australia) and Ph.D. in Decision Sciences from the University of Kansas. Dr. Giang's past works focused on mining text-based patient data and the problems of statistical forecasting with applications.

  • Janusz Wojtusiak, PhD; Assistant Professor, Department of Health Administration and Policy. He also serves as the director of the GMU Machine Learning and Inference Laboratory.
  • Jane Woods, BA. Jane Woods served in the Virginia House of Delegates and the Virginia State Senate where she chaired the Senate Committee on Education and Health.  Woods’s work in the legislature also included serving as Vice Chair of the Joint Commission on Health Care as well as numerous other commissions and joint committees.

  • Stephen Brown, MSBA, Instructor; Mr. Brown is currently the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis at MediCorp Health System.
  • Vicky Debold; Health Services Organization and Policy and Nursing. Vicky Debold, PhD, RN has worked in the health care field for more than 30 years as an ICU nurse, health care administrator, health policy analyst and faculty member focusing on safety and child health.
  • David Eitel, MD; Dr. Eitel was until April 2008 the Director of the Health Services Design [Engineering] section of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the York Hospital in York Pennsylvania, and a core faculty in their Emergency Medicine Residency.
  • Robert Graboyes, PhD; Dr. Robert F. Graboyes is Senior Healthcare Advisor at the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) in Washington, DC, the nation's largest small-business association and a major player in healthcare reform.
  • Alan S. Goldberg, AB, JD, LLM; Mr. Goldberg is a member of the bars of the Commonwealth of Virginia, the State of New York, the District of Columbia, the State of Florida, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He concentrates in the practice of business, regulatory compliance, and tax law including the delivery of health care and information technology.

  • Peter Kongstvedt, MD, FACP. Dr. Peter Kongstvedt is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Health Administration and Policy at George Mason University, and a well known independent national authority on the health care industry with particular expertise in health insurance and managed health care, and. 
  • Tracey Perez Koehlmoos, PhD, MHA; Adjunct Professor. Dr. Koehlmoos specializes in health systems research and health outcomes research.
  • Sanjeev Raman, MS and PhD candidate in Information Technology; Adjunct Professor. Professor Raman has extensive consulting and work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, and he has worked on IT projects for Bristol Meyers Squibb, Biogen Idec and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. His current research interests are clinical informatics, gene expression analysis and data integration.
