Nursing Faculty to be Inducted into American Academy of Nursing

Updated May 20, 2013 - Dr. Renee Milligan and Dr. Donna Jo McCloskey will be inducted into the American Academy of Nursing this fall.  Dr. Milligan is recognized for her research on maternal fatigue, her theory of unpleasant symptoms, and for a career dedicated to providing health care services to vulnerable and underserved populations. Dr. McCloskey is a program director at the National Institute of Nursing Research.

Doctoral Student Dissertation Award

April 9, 2013 - Ellen Swartwout, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, PhD(c) has received an American Organization of Nurse Executives Seed Grand Award for her dissertation. The award was presented on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the American Association of Nurse Executives 46th Annual Meeting in Denver Colorado.

Nurse Faculty Loan Program Now Accepting Applications

April 3, 2013 - The Nurse Faculty Loan Program is a federal program designed to increase the number of nursing students who pursue careers as full-time faculty teaching in college and university schools of nursing. Applications are due April 22, 2013. Information about the program and application are available on the Nurse Faculty Loan Program site.
