Graduate Nursing Core Courses
via Distance Education

The College of Health and Human Services is offering a new online option for completing core graduate nursing courses needed for all graduate nursing programs. The online option offers students flexibility, convenience and individual attention. Courses are usually offered in a condensed seven week format, enabling the student to take two courses per semester with a one week break between classes. Due to course content, NURS 597 Data Analysis in Nursing Research is offered in a 15 week format.

Our online courses are delivered using Blackboard CE6 as the primary interface. The address for all Blackboard courses is http://courses.gmu.edu.  A student guide is also available to review.

All CHHS alternative schedule courses are regular GMU courses and may be applied as appropriate to meet undergraduate and graduate degree requirements. A maximum of 9 credits may be earned in non-degree status in the College of Health and Human Services. All students seeking a degree are urged to apply for University admission as soon as possible.
