Deadlines:
Undergraduate Students: Each academic year there is a limited window in which applications for Junior Standing to the BSN program are accepted. The application period is typically between January and February of the year in which you plan to attend. Please review the Application Deadline Calendar for a list of when applications will next be made available. During the open application period, application materials may be downloaded from the above link. When the open application period has closed for the year, application materials are removed from the site. BSN Application available via this link. Freshmen and all undergraduate students applying to nursing as transfer students must also submit an undergraduate application for admission to George Mason University. Upon completion of required nursing prerequisites, undergraduate students are eligible to apply to junior standing through one of the following BSN pathways. Please visit the School of Nursing website for more information on the undergraduate programs. Students who hold an active RN license do not need to submit a separate application to the School of Nursing. To enroll in the RN-BSN accelerated pathway, please contact Susan Swett at 703-993-1901. A formal application process is required in order to be admitted to the Social Work Program and be considered for senior field placement.
