Admitted transfer students who wish to attend an academic advising session prior to attending an orientation program may attend one of three academic advising sessions:
Undergraduate Majors:
Community Health BS
Health Science BS
Nursing BSN*
Pre-Nursing (those preparing to apply to the BSN program for Fall 2010 or after)
Social Work BS
*Note: Decisions for the BSN Nursing program (traditional and accelerated second degree programs) will be sent out in mid-June. We ask that Fall 2009 Nursing applicants wait to register until they have received their offers of admission to the Nursing major. Admitted nursing students should attend a regularly scheduled orientation and registration session at which time they will be advised. Nursing courses are restricted to only those who have been admitted to the major of Nursing.
Pre-Nursing students (students taking required general education and Nursing prerequisites) may elect to attend a pre-orientation advising session.
If you are a transfer student admitted to a non- Nursing major and wish to attend a pre-orientation advising session, please contact the CHHS Office of Student Affairs to RSVP at 703-993-1901. Please make sure you leave your full name, G Number, and program for which you have admitted.
