RN Return to Practice
Course Credit: 15 CEUs
Course Description: A comprehensive program designed for the licensed professional nurse returning to clinical practice. The course will integrate contemporary concepts in pathophysiology, physical assessment, and pharmacology to the care of culturally diverse adult medical surgical patients during classroom, online, and clinical experiences. Attendance Requirement: Students must be able to attend all didactic classes and clinical to complete the program — no exceptions can be accommodated.
Cost: $1,800.00 Full payment is due at Registration.
Payment can be made by MasterCard or Visa. No email registrations/payments are accepted.
NOTE: Registration is a two-part process. First, register for the course by submitting the appropriate form for the class you wish to take:

Once registered for the course, contract with CastleBranch to complete the pre-course requirements.
The Office of Academic Outreach offers the RN Return to Practice course as a continuing education opportunity. This course does not guarantee job placement or employment.
Refund Policy: If you need to cancel your registration, to receive a refund we must receive your written request for cancellation no less than two weeks prior to the course start date. A $175 processing fee will be charged. If registration is cancelled within 3 business days of the course, there will be a refund of only 50% of the course fee.
Pre-Course Requirements: After registering for the course, review the pre-course, clinical requirements located at the link on the right side of this page. All required documentation must be submitted to CastleBranch one week prior to the clinical portion of the course. Failure to successfully complete the pre-course requirements will prevent clinical placement.
Class Size: A minimum of 8 students will be required to hold the class. The Office of Academic Outreach reserves the right to cancel any course not reaching the minimum student enrollment.
Classes: Mason Fairfax Campus, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Parking information will be provided.
Clinicals: Virginia Hospital Center, 6:30 am – 4:00 pm
