R. Kevin Mallinson, PhD, RN, AACRN, FAAN
School of Nursing
Dr. Mallinson, associate professor of nursing and Assistant Dean for doctoral programs, teaches theory and advanced research methods in the PhD program. He has more than 30 years of experience in caring for persons with – or at risk for – HIV disease. His research has focused on coping with epidemic losses, adhering to HIV treatment, and evaluating clinical outcomes. Dr. Mallinson spent a year as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar (2012-2013) in the Kingdom of Swaziland in Southern Africa building the capacity of nurses and others to conduct research.
