James A. Metcalf, PhD
Department of Global and Community Health
Dr. Metcalf is Professor of Global and Community Health. He is a clinical Exercise Physiologist. He concentrates on the physiological bases of current health behaviors and teaches a variety of courses including GCH 332, Health and Disease and GCH 350, Health Education. His research interests include adolescent health behaviors and health-related critique of literary classics. He is a skilled writer/editor and enjoys writing OpEd columns and commentaries for the general public.
