Julie Miner, MPH
Department of Global and Community Health
Julie Miner received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Thought and Political Economy from the University of Massachusetts, and an MPH in Health Management and Policy from the University of Michigan. She has served as a Strategic Planner for the Fairfax County Health Department, Director of Social Marketing for the Alabama Department of Public Health, and Deputy Director of the Philadelphia AIDS Consortium. Her research interests include maternal child health, social marketing, and social media and health communications. She is a member of the American Public Health Association, the Northern Virginia Perinatal Council, and the Fetal and Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) for Northern Virginia.
