This accreditation covers all graduate and undergraduate programs offered by the University, including the MPH program. The Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) acted at its June 6-8, 2013 meeting to accredit the Master of Public Health Program at George Mason University for a five-year term, extending to July 1, 2018.
Graduates of the MPH program may be eligible to sit for the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) exam, depending on their area of concentration and program of study. Students who wish to become CHES eligible should meet with their advisors early in the program to plan the appropriate courses.
