The Graduate Certificate in Public Health provides working professionals an opportunity to advance their career and education in public health at their own pace. The certificate program prepares students with the fundamental skills and knowledge to address each of the five core areas of public health: social and behavioral health, epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental health, and health systems.
The 18-credit graduate certificate may be completed on a full- or part-time schedule. A 100% online option is also available.
Completing the public health graduate certificate with a "B" or better in each course will satisfy the GRE requirement for students interested in applying to the Master of Public Health (MPH) program.

The Graduate Certification in Public Health uses the SOPHAS Application Service. SOPHAS is an online application system where prospective graduate students can apply to multiple accredited public health programs.
