Biography

Dr. Tanya Haas is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing. She brings over 20 years of nursing experience and teaches didactic and seminar courses in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. Her expertise includes emergency nursing, organizational leadership and management, nursing education, and care coordination. Her areas of interest are transitions of care in vulnerable populations, curriculum development, and integrating innovative technology, such as virtual reality, into the classroom. Dr. Haas has also served in a variety of leadership roles and most recently became a fellow of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing’s Elevating Leaders in Academic Nursing program.
