Biography

Shannon Casey joined the College of Health and Human Services as a Development Specialist in September 2017. She manages development events and the scholarship awarding process for CHHS along with other duties in fundraising, donor stewardship and alumni relations. Prior to coming to CHHS, Shannon was a member of the Advancement & Alumni Relations team at George Mason University’s Scalia Law School, where she served as the liaison to the alumni board, coordinated Annual Giving efforts, and organized several major events such as the 20th Annual Judicial and Legislative Reception.

Shannon graduated with a bachelor’s degree in urban and environmental planning from the University of Virginia. She was an executive assistant at a small independent school for several years prior to coming to Mason. She is currently a member of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and serves on the executive board for the DC Chapter of United Women in Business.
