The purpose of this project is to expand access to care for the vulnerable through the development of an integrated care team involving behavioral health services in an underserved clinic population. As a consultant of the project, Yousefi served as a psychiatric expert to the primary care team and behavioral health care manager, proposing treatment changes for vulnerable clients with mental health needs.  At completion of the grant, the clinic underwent staffing changes; however, Dr. Yousefi continued to serve the clinic in the capacity of an academic faculty consultant, facilitating operational principles of the Collaborative Care Model.
