Dr. Sang Daniel Choi, Ph.D., MPH, MS, CSP, CPE is Professor in the Department of Global and Community Health at George Mason University. Choi’s research interests are environmental and occupational health and safety, human factors & ergonomics, total workers health, fall prevention (older adults), and prevention through design (PtD). Choi is a nationally and internationally recognized with extensive knowledge and experience in the occupational and environmental health (OEH) and industrial-community health & safety. Before coming to Mason, Choi was OSH specialist for DHHS CDC/NIOSH Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPA) Mobility Program, and Professor in the Department of Occupational & Environmental Safety & Health (OESH) at the University of Wisconsin. Choi is a U.S. Board Certified Safety Professional (BCSP), and U.S. Board Certified Professional Ergonomist (BCPE).
August 11, 2023Alison Cuellar will continue to advance the College’s research strategy and implementation efforts as our Associate Dean of Research. Since her appointment as interim Associate Dean in March 2023, Dr. Cuellar has moved quickly to help faculty expand their research capacity and support early-career and new faculty.

Dr. Shanti Chang is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing and the Family Nurse Practitioner and Adult-Gerontology DNP Program Director. Chang's interests are pediatrics and underserved populations.
